Contact us about The Bus Network Changes

On the 22nd of March 2010 the Bus network Routes have been chnaged as part of a broader Bus Networkreview directed by the NSW State Government in the Liverpool and its surrounding areas. The aims of the reviews are to develop bus services that better reflect community and community transport needs. According the State Government, the reviews will improve bus service performance by providing fast, frequent and direct services to regional centres as well as other import destinations such as hospitals, railway, education and community facilities.

Therefore, Liverpool Transport Taskforce is interested and keen to know what happen in the changes in Bus Network Routes in Region 3.

Interestingly, some people have found out that the bus routes changes will make it difficult for them because some services have been cut off. "The residents at Orchard Road discovered that route 844 is no longer in operating after the 22nd March 2010 " said George Smith. Route 844 normally use to take people from Orchard Rd to the T-Way and also to the Valley Plaza Shopping Centre and the surounding areas.

Liverpool Transport Taskforce strongly encourages people to let the State Government know if they are affedted by the Bus Network Changes. You can ring the Government on the 131500 or the website http://www.131500.com/.
